About Mark Gagnon
Mark Gagnon has lived in the Puget Sound Region for nine years and has been very politically active on various grassroots efforts to improve the quality of life in our region and to promote sensible and more cost effective regional transit. He has served as a member of South King County Metro’s Sound Board to bring better transit solutions to the Kent area and the south King County area. He has also served as a member of Kent’s Transportation Master Plan Task Force to identify and address Kent’s vehicular, bicycle and pedestrian concerns. Mark has been elected and served as a Precinct Committee Officer since 2003.
Mark's father was a deputy chief of the fire department so he understands the importance and needs of our first responders. Mark has contributed his talents to both the Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts empowering them and helping our youth expand their options for the future.
As an employee for one of the world's largest engineering firms, Mark Gagnon helps keep our air transportation system safe from terrorists.
Mark lives on Kent’s East Ridge and enjoys hiking, rollerblading and working in his yard.
We can do better with Mark Gagnon on the Kent City Council.
